zéyad Masoud has led the creative direction of atelier Desperandum since 2018. The concept has aimed to promote artesians, artists, and fabricators; particularly of Middle-East and North Africa(MENA), through exposure of their works and products in Europe and North America. In the efforts to re-establish his identity with his country of birth [despite having been estranged for decades] the Egyptian has devoted himself to sharing the aesthetic and lifestyle that he believes will continue to connect people beyond borders and cultures.
